Imagine a village where everyone eats bread made from wheat. One day, they start making bread out of old bread. It works for a while. But eventually, the nutritional value disappears. The texture becomes chalky. The bread ceases to be bread. That is what happens when LLMs start "reading" the internet that they themselves have filled with "tokenmaxxed" fluff. The intelligence degrades.

The Invisible Stakes of the Human Element

We are currently in a period of profound confusion about what value actually is. We have mistaken the ability to produce text for the ability to communicate.
